The world today...

It's been busy, busy, busy today...on the front of everyone else.

Finally Alan Johnston has been released, I was thinking only last night that we wouldn't see him released for at least another 200 days...how wrong I was, thank God. So he's out, doing pretty well considering, looking in pretty good shape but definitely needs a hair cut. Definitely a piece of good news to wake up to...all we need now is for little Maddy to be found. Fingers crossed...

In somewhat less life-changing, but still important news the new Doctor Who companion has been anounced for next series...Catherine Tate is back! Her character was deemed such a success in the Christmas special that she's being brought back on a more permanent basis. This will either be another piece of incredible casting by the Beeb or , and hopefully not, just one step too far making the show to OTT and once again turning a fantastic show into a farce. I definitely hope it is the former but we shall have to wait and see.

In the sport, Liverpool have signed Torres, a move that will be only good for the Premiership and the Champions League, I would have preferred it had he moved to United but sadly it was not meant to be. The 23 year old Spanish forward was always destined to join the Spanish Armada as they set sail to conquer England next season putting an end their recent dry spell.

As for me, have borrowed my little brother's Game Cube today and have been playing his games (I got bored with my PS2...can't wait til I get my Wii now!). Apart from that I had a dream last night that Prince William wanted to marry me, but I told him that would never be possible and to marry Kate instead...how dumb am I in dreams!!! Lol.

My only saving grace at the moment is YouTube...I love those little video clips, the fanvids, the slash and the repeats of last week's tv...I watched the John Barrowman clip from Would I lie to you? as I'd been out the previous week...he was fairly tame for him, not nearly as bad as his performance on Al Murray's Happy Hour or worse still Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He's naughty but I love him!

Anyway that's about all the stuff I can say today...I promise as I get more into this and if I ever get a readership, this blog will get more interesting...until then adios!

P.S Not much on TV...use your Orange Wednesday and head out to see Shrek Three!
